We will be attending the Worldwide Candle Lighting tomorrow. On the web page about this event there is a video. It features the song Precious Child by Karen Taylor-Good. The song grabbed me. It’s beautiful and amazing. I found a video on YouTube that just has the song – no info about the Candle Lighting.

Warning – if you’ve lost a child, this video will make you cry. Sometime you just need to cry. Here is the perfect mood music for the occasion.

my son was 10 days shy of turning 3 when he passed away i heard this song and knew it was the perfect song to be played at his funeral. a few weeks later i learned the song was written for a 3 yr old boy who went to heaven:(

I had it for my daughters funeral and it was perfect. However, it was written by karen for her 21year old nephew who passed away. 🙂

Kat, I’m very sorry that you lost your daughter.

My Son Kenny was Born Stillborn, In 2005 ,
He Was 5 Days over due He Looked So Perfect With His Bright rosy Cheeks and Smooth skin ,
I Heard This Song For The First Time last Year , And it’s such a touching song every time I listen To It It Makes Me Feel Like I’m Singing To Him!

I played this song on my beautiful daughters due date. Iost Grace and Iris in my 5th month of pregnancy. It’s been a year,4 months and day. I love my angels, my precious daughters everyday of my life.♡♡♡
